1. Introduction
Welcome to Post Off.!
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Post Off. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit our website, purchase our services, complete onboarding, or communicate with us. Post Off. is a Canadian business providing custom short-form social media video editing services. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where applicable.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Contact information: Your name, email address, business name, and contact details.
Order information: Services purchased, payment status, transaction records, and billing details.
Business information: Your website, social media accounts, branding, target audience, content preferences, and other information provided during onboarding.
Submitted content: Videos, images, logos, audio, and other materials you provide for Reel creation.
Communications: Emails, inquiries, feedback, and revision requests.
Website information: Technical information such as IP address, browser information, and website activity collected through cookies or similar technologies, where enabled.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential customer records, or identifiable patient information unless we have expressly agreed to appropriate handling arrangements in advance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Process purchases and provide our services.
Communicate about orders, onboarding, delivery, and revisions.
Create customized Reels using your submitted materials.
Maintain client project folders for current and future orders.
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
Maintain business and financial records.
Improve our website, services, and customer experience.
Send promotional emails when we have appropriate consent or another lawful basis.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe or other payment providers identified at checkout.
Post Off. does not intentionally collect or store complete credit card numbers through its own systems. Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.
We may receive transaction details, payment confirmation, and limited billing information necessary to manage your order.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party platforms to operate Post Off., including:
Systeme.io: Website hosting, checkout, customer communications, and email marketing.
Stripe: Secure payment processing.
Tally: Client onboarding forms, preferences, and consent collection.
Google Drive: Storage, sharing, and delivery of client footage and completed Reels.
Google Workspace or Gmail: Business communications.
These providers may process or store information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States or other jurisdictions. When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use service providers for legitimate business purposes and take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us.
6. Client Footage and Content Storage
Clients retain ownership of the original footage, images, logos, and other materials they provide.
By submitting content, you authorize Post Off. to access, store, edit, and process that content for the services you purchase. We may maintain an ongoing Google Drive folder for your business so that footage can be reused for future Reel Pack purchases without requiring you to upload the same files again.
We retain submitted footage while it is reasonably needed for active services, future work requested or reasonably anticipated by you, or other legitimate business purposes. We periodically review whether continued retention is necessary. You may request deletion of your footage by emailing hello@postoff.ca. We will assess and respond to deletion requests, subject to applicable legal requirements and any information we must retain for legitimate purposes. Deletion of footage does not automatically remove completed Reels, records required by law, or copies temporarily retained in service-provider backups.
We do not guarantee permanent or unlimited file storage. Clients should maintain their own copies of important original footage and finished content.
7. Portfolio and Promotional Use
We will not publicly feature your submitted footage or completed Reels in our portfolio, website, advertisements, or social media without your permission. During onboarding, you may choose whether to authorize Post Off. to showcase your finished Reels. Permission is optional and does not affect your ability to purchase our services. You may withdraw permission for future promotional use by emailing hello@postoff.ca. We will stop future use and take reasonable steps to remove content from channels under our control. We may not be able to remove copies already shared or retained by third parties.
8. Email Communications and Marketing
We may email you about purchases, onboarding, footage requirements, project progress, delivery, and customer support. These service-related messages are necessary to manage your order.
We may also send occasional promotional emails about Reel Packs, special offers, and social media tips when permitted by applicable law. Where express consent is requested, promotional email consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing our services. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages or by contacting hello@postoff.ca.
We comply with applicable Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL).
9. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website and service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to support website functionality, checkout processes, security, and measurement of website activity.

These may include restricted access to client folders, account authentication, reputable third-party service providers, and limiting access to information needed to deliver our services.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, supporting future client projects, maintaining legally required records, and resolving disputes. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it, anonymize it, or otherwise dispose of it securely.
